UNITED WAY SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR 2009

No Finer Diners:

Sept. 18 – Spud Spectacular

Oct. 2 – Ready for Bed (Breakfast for Lunch)

Oct. 23 – Mexican Mania

Nov. 6 – It Was A Souper Campaign (Soups & Stews)

All No Finer Diners run from 11:30 – 1:00 and are $3.50 per person, drink and dessert included. Diners are held at Show, Inc. at 425 W Wells Blvd in Sapulpa.

Costume Days:

Sept. 18 – Hillbilly Heaven (dress up in your most hillbilliest costume)

Oct. 2 – Ready for Bed (wear your pajamas to work)

Oct. 16 – Bad Hair Day (no need for the ‘do today)

Anyone may dress up but to be included in the prize drawing during that day’s No Finer Diner there is a $2.00 entry fee.

Envelope Dreams:

Will run from Sept. 18 thru Nov 2.

For $1.00 come pick an envelope for a chance at a big dream or a small dream. You may be able to pick a prize from the grab box or maybe get something bigger!

Intercom Bingo:

Sept. 25 & Oct. 30

For $1.00 per card bingo numbers will be called out over the intercom system during the day. See if you get to be the one to call BINGO!

Wishing Well:

Make a wish with change for the United Way!  A dry wishing well is set up at the front desk of Show for anyone wanting to “Make A Wish For Change”.

Annual Parking Lot Dance:

We have a grand time with dancing, concessions, cake walk and other activities. Admission is $3.00 per person or $5.00 per couple. Be sure to bring extra dollars so you can walk for $1.00 for some yummy treats. This year’s dance will be held on Friday, October 16.

Silent Auction:

Our silent auction will run from Sept. 18 thru Nov. 6. Items will be on display and bids can be placed at Show or on our website at www.showinc.org.

In past years we have been pleased to include in our auction or “Taste of Sapulpa” basket with certificates from some of Sapulpa’s wonderful restaurants as well as a “Wet and Wild Weekend” which included tickets to the Tulsa Zoo and Oklahoma Aquarium.
